The pod casting class was good, I thought it was OK, but if I where to do it again I would probably do a few things differently I wouldn’t drag things out as long and would hope that I could learn more about how to actually post a pod cast. Some of the things that I would keep the same are learning what I did learn and perhaps doing the same projects
I have learned many things after going through the podcasting class. First of all I have learned the podcasting terminology, such as RSS, board, and bed. I have learned more about blogs. I now know the full concept of them and their purpose. I have learned how to create podcasts and the equipment needed to create them. I have learned about copyright laws and how they pertain to podcasting.
If there was anything I could do differently I would have used my time more wisely. This class was a difficult class with a lot of work and a lot of people didn’t realize how much work there was until the end of the class. If there was anything that could be different about the class I wish that there wasn’t as many required podcasts. There are five podcasts that are required for the class. I think that if there were less than that it would be better. I noticed that a lot of people rushed through there podcasts and didn’t spend that much time on them. I think that if the required amount was less, people would spend more time on the podcasts and put more effort and audio effects into their podcast. Another thing that I think should be different is that there should be a required amount of effects to each podcast. I think that there should be a checklist with all of the required special effects that way people would be able to get to know the program more. Plus people would spend more effort on their podcasts if effects were required.
If there was anything that I could keep the same, it would be everything besides what I mentioned in the above paragraph. Other than those 2 suggestions, the class was good and I think that things should stay the same.
